Rigid Schedule – Weekly
This article is intended to help and support People365 Time-Attendance admin users regarding rigid schedule implementation, along with the parameters that can be used.
Rigid schedule determines the employee start and end duty, in addition to the days off. Using Rigid Schedule, Employees will be linked to a fixed pre-defined schedule. Rigid Schedule can have 2 Cycles, Weekly and Alternative:

Below Calendar will clarify the attendance based on the examples mentioned above, according to the schedule cycle:

One Shift, Weekly Schedule:
An example of a one shift rigid schedule is when employees work from Monday to Friday, from 08:00 until 16:30. Below steps will help you creating the schedule:
- A clear description of any schedule is crucial; since it will help in selecting the right schedule when you link it to employees.
- Edit the Shift to link the schedule to a policy, and set different Parameters.
The Policy is mandatory for a weekly – rigid schedule. However, you can set any parameter based on your business needs, the click on Save.
- Select the working days and hours from “Multiple Days Schedule”
Finally, you will have the needed schedule implemented.
Multiple Shifts, Weekly Schedule:
When employees are rotating among different duties. For example, Call Center agents rotate among AM (07:00 – 15:00), Evening (15:00 – 23:00), and PM (23:00 – 07:00) shifts, taking Sunday as an off day.
- A clear description of any schedule is crucial, since it will help in selecting the right schedule when you link it to employees. After that, define the number of shifts, and the rotation type.
Normal Rotation: Weekly Rotation among shifts

Find the Correct Shift: Daily Rotation among shifts. Below is what the schedule might look like:

- Edit the Shift to link the schedule to a policy, and set different Parameters.
The Policy is mandatory for this schedule. However, you can set any parameter based on your business needs.
You can also specify different policy for each shift
- Select the working days and hours from “Multiple Days Schedule”
Do the three shifts and you will have the needed schedule implemented.
